The kids loved the easy walking distance to attractions, perfect since we brought our pets along. Plus, nearby NOLA had some really healthy food options that the whole family loved!
For dads, it would be great if the noise from the nightlife could be reduced.

My stay was very nice here. Loved to be here, the hotel was immaculately clean and nicely appointed, the location was incredible and amazing close to bus and train stations. Location: the venue was so close to the main railway station and the centre of Porto, a short walk from the main rail station. It was cheap, modern and with a very comfortable bed.

Opt for earplugs if you plan to rest early. The nightlife can be quite vibrant, especially on weekends.

The natural light flooding in through the windows created a warm and inviting atmosphere I enjoyed.
The proximity to nightlife resulted in quite a bit of noise that often disrupted my sleep, particularly on weekend nights.

The room had a charming decor and a very clean ambiance that contributed to a cozy feeling. The check-in process was smooth with easy access codes provided in advance. I loved the natural light flooding in through the windows. The location's proximity to multiple nightlife venues created significant noise disturbances. The sound of loud music and boisterous crowds often continued well into the early morning hours. Although the mattress was on the firmer side, it didn't detract much from my experience. Oportohouse offers a good atmosphere, but potential guests should be prepared for noise issues if they choose to stay near the nightlife areas.

I spent a comfortable night in a clean and tidy room. The staff were super friendly. It's in a lively area which is perfect for exploring the historic spots. I really felt prepared for my Camino de Santiago journey. I'd totally recommend it to fellow pilgrims 😊

The staff were super friendly and made me feel welcome.
Sadly, the noise insulation in the room was severely lacking. I could hear every person passing by and even footsteps from the floor above, which disrupted my sleep multiple times during the night. The hairdryer in the bathroom was nearly falling apart, quite concerning as it made using it a bit tricky and unsafe.

Fantastic location near attractions. The staff were genuinely helpful and kind, contributing to a warm atmosphere. The noise from nearby nightlife was intrusive, disrupting sleep, especially on weekends. The basement room we received was cramped, lacking proper ventilation and a view, far from the spacious rooms depicted in the photos. The mattress could also have been more comfortable for a better night's rest.

We had a cozy night and the breakfast spread was delightful, especially the fresh pastries! Relaxing on the sun terrace was a great way to unwind after a long day. The leisure room was perfect for movie nights. Just a heads up, the water pressure in the shower could use a little boost, but it didn’t really dampen our experience. 😊
